I work to address the psychological, emotional, and behavioral aspects of addiction through an in-depth assessment by evaluating a clients substance use or behavior patterns, mental health, legal concerns, and any underlying issues that may be contributing to their Substance Abuse.
Treatment services involve a personalized treatment plan that includes goal setting, identifying triggers, developing strategies to manage cravings/relapse, and treat and co-occurring mental health conditions that may be contributing to Substance Abuse. The primary modalities incorporated in treatment include Motivational Interviewing, Relapse Prevention Planning, Dialectical Behavorial Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy.
Often with Substance Abuse, individuals have resulted in involvement with the criminal justice system and or violations of their employer’s Substance & Alcohol policy.
